how do i install curtains and drapery holdbacks?
This question has gone a week without an answer. The bigger the “swag” you create with your tiebacks, the more pressure you put on the hook that is sunk into the wall to hold the tiebacks. If you are able to screw the tieback hooks into the wall and hit wood, you should be OK. If not, you will probably need to use an expandable anchor so that the hook does not pull out under pressure. There are many types of anchors available. Best advice is to visit your local hardware store and follow their advice. Take one of the hooks with you and be prepared to tell them if your walls are drywall or plaster.
