How can I get my convertible top clean?
I have a 98 eclipse spyder with a vinyl khaki top and it has like darkened spots on it from what appears where rain water sits or runs over a lot. I guess its mildew. I have bought blue magic top cleaner but it won’t get rid of the spots. When I look real close and take my nail i can get it down in between the little grooves and scrape the black stuff off. I guess the cloth isn’t fine enough to get down in there and loosen it up. What can I use to get rid of these spots? Like a soft bristle brush or something?
This might sound like a gag answer but it truly isn’t. Use Krud Kutter! I am responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of 152 apartment units and we use Krud Kutter. Krud Kutter gets grease off stoves, rings out of tubs, marks off walls, heel marks off floors, stains out of carpets, etc. It even removes permanent marking pens that virtually nothing else does. Whats really nice is that its both the strongest cleaner I’ve ever used and the most gentle (it’ll remove marker from a wall but not the paint although it’ll remove paint from a tile but not the finish!
