Has anyone bought Honda Finishing Touch Protection package from Honda?

When I bought my car, the sale manager at the dealer suggest me to buy this plan. He said anything happen to my car (hit and run, accident..) they will make sure my car look like new again without any deductible. But 2 weeks ago, I packed my car on a street and someone cracked my front bumper. I called Honda protection plan unit and they told me it’s not covered. Suck! I learned my lesson the hard way. Most, or I should say ALL, extended warranty plans are overly expensive for what they offer. Then when you try to use them they always try to wiggle out of it. By the way, one reason they’re so expensive is the dealership and the salesman both get a cut of what you pay for it. That’s why they always push them, not because it helps you but because it benefits them.
