Motocross hand guards question?

Looking for hand guards for 2002 Yamaha TTR 225.
Are most universal? If not links for ones that would fit my bike?

Also an exhaust question: Getting a FMF Powercore 4 for my TTR (same bike as listed above). Is it a complicated job taking off my old one and putting it on? What does re-jetting mean?

What is a good make of hand guards?

Acerbis make a good handguard for bikes. You usually purchase the mounting kit separately and they are usually universal. Don’t get the old fashioned Bark Busters as they are a sure way to end up breaking your arms and really no good at all.

It may be wise to get the pipe installed by someone who knows how to do it and that way they can check the jetting as well and make sure the bike is running as it should.
