Cleaning cloth stuck in middle of french hole flute,helllp! ASAP.?
I am like freaking out because it is brand new and i cannot get the cloth out of the middle. I’ve tried pushing it with the rod but it won’t budge. please help asap, i’m desperate.
If it’s near enough to the end then try tweezers, I once got my cleaning cloth stuck in my piccolo headjoint but managed to get it out with tweezers thank God! If this doesn’t work then if you are really extremely careful then find some really strong superglue and dab some on the end of the rod (or other long implement), put it through the flute and onto the cloth, wait for it to dry and then pull and hopefully the cloth will come out as well. Although if the first method doesn’t work then I would recommend going to a music shop to get it repaired. Good luck!
